I am a part of an international delegation called Lationosphere. We were recently invited to speak at a tech conference in Guadalajara, Mexico called "Epicentro Fest". Speakers from all over the world came together to share ideas on how to create, transform, and build open cities that are full of knowledge.
My talk was titled "Beyond Technology, Keeping People Connected". It was an amazing experience meeting innovators and entreprenuers, during my four days in beautiful Guadalajara.
I was so impressed with Guadalajara! The city is a modern tech hub with high rise buildings, but it also maintains its traditional culture and history.
The highlight of my trip was a helicopter ride from Guadalajara to Tequila, Mexico. It was my first time on a helicopter and I was a little nervous. As I was waiting to board the helicopter, the Lord impressed on my heart my mission for the ride; to pray for Guadalajara and ask that a revival of the gospel will spread through the area. After praying this over the city I immediately felt a peace.
I thank God for the opportunity to speak and share at the Epicentro Fest. And I thank God for all of you, your support, and your continued prayers.
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people."
